Sometimes life hurts.  It's hard.  It seems unbearable. It's dark.  It leaves a mark (like ashes of grief or despair) in the deepest part of our soul.  God never intended for us to stay stuck in our pain, deep sorrow, anxiety or anger. He heals and restores.  He takes all of our brokenness and turns it into something good.  We are all a work in progress, and as we progress, God promises beauty, joy and peace.
